Work Every Possibility Out of Impossibility

'Impossible' - A favorite word some of us used, to dismiss tasks.

I asked, 'If there is still human life, what is impossible?'

Human, such a complex and unimaginable creation exists,
what else is impossible?

Don't give up exploring every possibility out of the impossibility.
There may be a limitation to every possibility, that means there is every chance of possibility may be sought from impossibility.

Keep searching, be amazed!

The next time we are challenged with a difficult task, are we going to reply with 'impossible'? or simply 'limitation to desirable results'?

The major challenge is always Time.. well.. I am still working on this issue though... :)

Does Time practice bribery? Guess not eh? hahaa.

Time takes no order from anyone. (sigh, therefore we all age!!!)

Before I point an accusing finger to other factors or people for a less desirable outcome, do I wish to look into myself first?

Imagine myself as a central power station, if the power supply runs low, is it more effective to work on this station first, or is it productive to attend to individual branched out stations?

Hmmm.... I say... situational, and debatable.

Choices & Opportunity Costs

The creator of human lives created lives with intention to leave all choices to be made by ourselves, besides two critical options - Birth and Death.

To be born may not be our choice, but to live it to the fullest, is definitely a choice left for us to decide.

When to end this life of ours, is not exactly in our control as well. What we do have a control over this, is how colorful we wish to paint our path before it ends.

While making any choice, it involves opportunity cost.

In every choice made, be it minor or major, we are giving up something else in exchange. Consciously or unconsciously, we are constantly gaining yet losing at the same time.

Today, I choose to stay home and shower myself with the luxury of time. I gained some simple personal leisure of pure relaxation. Meanwhile, the cost of such luxury is the opportunity of many possibilities that could take place if I were to go out of the house. However, the value and worthiness of such opportunity cost is highly dependent on individual visualization of own requirement and priority.

My story:

That year, grandpa was critically ill, and was warded into the hospital many times.

There were many false alarms of critical moments pertaining to his health matters. We never knew how many more false alarms were to be experienced, before any one of them became a genuine life threatening moment.

I was bogged down with my own personal problem, that required much attention and time to resolve.

This day... While I channeled all my time and concern on resolving my own problem, the news of grandpa's critical situation reached me. Taken things for granted, I thought to myself that this was probably just one of the false alarms, and I would visit him the next day, after I had settled one of my problems, which apparently could not be solved in one day's time.

My problem did not get solved, and I missed the chance to bid the last farewell to my dearest grandpa. I had never made it to see grandpa alive again.

I had chosen at the cost of grandpa's last time, to spend time understanding the value of a relationship which had long lost its essence of love.

It was a lesson learnt, that time and opportunity were being traded in from the cost of one decision over another.

Moral of the story:

In making any decision, it is advisable to zoom out of the situation, and look into the wider picture. Evaluate and identify the priority.

Think twice... We are not able to revert time spent, while using this time slot to accomplish one task, is sacrificing similar time to spend on another.

Decide what is more important to you. Acknowledge the opportunity cost, make every moment well spent, with minimal regrets. Make every sacrifice worth all the while.

Subconsciously, all of us do filter such thoughts before a decision is made. This is an innate human instinct that comes with us upon birth.

When I make a choice now, I always think 'What if I choose this over that? What am I missing out if I make such a choice now?' If you think such a choice is worth your efforts, despite the high cost of this decision, don't stop where you are, just do it, and go all the way. Give your best, and you are on the way to a more fulfilled life.

If you only have one apple to share with someone, and yet unable to halve it or portioned it, who in your heart would be the someone you wish would have the apple? Follow the inner voice of your heart.. Find your solace dream... For we only live this once.

Appreciation & Endurance

I was on the train, looking out from the moving vehicle, I saw one ordinary window, which hung up many clothes by the window pane.

I can't help but wonder if there was anyone resting behind this window? Was there someone enjoying the luxury of time while I dragged my tired body to work?

These thoughts swiftly led me to another image in mind, of a housewife leading a carefree lifestyle, walking down the streets in a slow paced town.

To this point, I didn't overlook the point that, supporting this lady's graceful life, is the hardworking, and perhaps stressed out husband.

There I developed this:
'One's happiness is brought about by another's hard work' - Lainsil

Motivation:
While you think you are having a hard time coping one task, or achieving one objective, think deeper, your present hard work is a leading source to another's happiness.

Pitfalls:
However, don't hope for hardships, instead, use this as an encouragement to get through things in easier pace, and positive manner.

I hope my thoughts could help you through the day better and appreciate every single happy moment.

The Earth is round, and seemingly moving, we can't stop it, but we can move with the flow of changes.

We won't stop happiness, even if it costs someone's hard work. The Earth moves in a circular motion, as we need to circulate everything in us in a similar motion.

We won't create extra hardships thinking that it would create more happiness. The understanding of nature takes more than a bird's eye's view.

Wasting or Appreciating Life

As we walk life everyday, day by day, we may notice that we spent a large portion of time worrying and fearing what may not happen

Some people waited their entire lives for Perfect opportunities
Their cognitive minds say:
‘I only invest in business with no risks, high profits’
‘I only enter love that bears no roadblocks, ever smooth sailing’
‘I only want high grade partner, in order to produce high intelligence children’
‘I only… I only… I only...’

Little do they realize that, these thoughts and wishful desires are merely resistance to life

Their emotions say:
‘I would like to explore my abilities and venture the business world. NO FEAR!’
‘I love and truly hope that this love works, HOPEFUL’
‘I first live fully and love truthfully, If our genes can’t produce intelligent children, I am sure they are at least happy children, LIBERATED’
‘I do… I do… I do…’

Haven’t we learn since birth that we gain through efforts? Be it great or little efforts?
Without listening in class, would we know what to do in exam?
When we do fail, didn’t we learn to revise harder the next time?

I may have failed in many relationships
However, in a different light, have I really failed? Or have I gained?
I would have failed completely, if I allowed myself to stop there, stuck in the mud
I have gained, however, by picking up myself again, and confront life and love afresh

Decide for yourself, a life full of fears and hesitant
Or a life full of colors

Power of Words

There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.

A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them. Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path.

The power of words....it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times.

Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.

Choose to Learn Through Joy

When things are going okay, most of us aren't too motivated to stretch ourselves. It's when we're in trouble that we begin to become more receptive to lessons - if we are smart.

How many times have we felt like we knew what the right path was, but we didn't want to make the effort to change or we were scared of the risk, so we ignored our intuition?

And how many times did we end up on that same path eventually - after lots of struggle? There is no avoiding some pain in life, but sometimes, the choice is ours whether to learn through joy or learn through pain.

Battle of Cognitive vs Emotive

We develop our own rationales, powerful mind works, you may say
We reason everything in life choices
It is a security reliever, so that we can always fall back to this record for comfort
To feed our super ego that we are strong in mind, and not weak by heart

Feelings… A word of weakling, you may find
Yet, feelings… Is the most Powerful possession in every living person
Feelings exist without us having to create it
Feelings, not to be manipulated
Feelings, free-spirited

To balance ourselves
We often create cognitive reasonings to combat our feelings
To make things ‘right’
We try to tag reasons to feelings

Feelings… Needs no reason

We try to eliminate feelings with reasons, out of fear
Do we realize something now?? Fear… itself is a feeling

So… Which source is controlling which source?
Ironic, isn’t it?

So when you think you can always win this battle of cognitive vs emotive
Think again…
Feelings come as they wish
You can choose to block away, in fear that you may not keep it down
And continue to think great of yourself that you have again won another battle
Block away… Itself, is a flight attitude, runaway soldier
So have you won really?

I reason for things I do
I don’t reason for how I feel
I reason, to understand and accept
I don’t reason to resist

Reason for a reason
Feel for living
